Proffessor Herbert Zirima

Proffessor Herbert Zirima serves as the Chairperson of the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (AHPCZ) Board. He is an Associate Proffessor of Psychology, a practicing Educational Psychologist and a holder of a Dphil in Psychology, MSc in Educational Psychology and a BSc Honours in Psychology. Prof Zirima is the Founder and Lead Consultant at Identity Consultancy, a private psychology consulting firm offering training, mental health & psychosocial support services. He has published more than 50 research articles and 3 books. Prof Zirima is currently the Deputy Dean in the Great Zimbabwe University,School of Medical & Health Sciences..

Netsai Risinamhodzi

Ms Netsai Risinamhodzi

Vice Chairperson

Ms Netsai Risinamhodzi  Vice Chairperson of the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe] is the Executive Director of CONNECT Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy. She is a performance driven and multi-skilled Clinical Social Worker and Family Therapist who has experience in clinical work, academia, qualitative research, monitoring and evaluation, consultancy, administrative and management work. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work Degree from Midlands State University, BSc Honors Degree in Social Work from Bindura University of Science Education and an Advanced Diploma in Family Therapy from CONNECT (Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy).

Mr Louis Gremu

Mr Louis Gremu is the board representative for Hospital Food Service Supervisors. He holds a Diploma in Hospital Food Service Management with the Ministry of Health, a Bachelor of Environmental Science Honors with NUST, a Graduate Executive Diploma in General Management (ZIM), a diploma in Business Bookkeeping (CPM) and a Diploma in HIV and AIDS Care and Prevention (IICDT) amongst other qualifications. Mr Gremu also has ISO 22000 certification in Food Service Management System Development and Implementation and certifications in customer service, recruitment and selection and human resource planning. He has more than 6 years experience of working as a Hospital Food Service Supervisor with the National Social Security Authority and has been previously working in the same capacity with the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

 

Mr Tendai Rungano Naggo

Mr Tendai Rungano Naggo is a dedicated paramedic with 15 years of experience in pre-hospital emergency care, with the privilege of serving as the Paramedic Representative for the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (AHPCZ). The work is guided by a deep respect for the paramedic profession and a commitment to serving colleagues and the public. Focus is on contributing to a framework where all practitioners can deliver safe and compassionate care and where the profession can continue to grow and adapt to the needs of the community. It is a genuine honor to support the work of the AHPCZ and to help ensure everyone upholds the high standards of the field.

 

Ms Winnet Manyadza

Ms Winnet Manyadza

Ms. Winnet Manyadza a seasoned Family Therapist with over 14 years of professional experience supporting individuals, families, and organizations across diverse cultural and religious contexts. She currently serves as the Clinic and Further Education Manager at CONNECT Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Counselling, an Advanced Diplomain Family Therapy, and a Certificate in Systemic Family Counselling. Her career has spanned a wide range of sectors,including government departments, parastatal, the mining industry, and non-governmental organizations, where she has provided expert counselling and family therapy services.Beyond clinical practice, Ms Winnet  Manyadza is also a seasoned trainer, equipping practitioners with skills in counselling and systemic family therapy.

Miss Thandeka Angela Sibanda is a registered dietitian based in Harare, Zimbabwe. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at Stellenbosch University and has extensive experience in clinical dietetics in public and private healthcare institutions in the Western Cape & Harare, Zimbabwe. She currently works for the Ministry of Health and Childcare as a clinical dietitian as well as a clinical instructor and junior lecturer with the University of Zimbabwe With a proven skill in simplifying complex nutrition concepts for individuals of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds, Miss Thandeka Angela Sibanda has excelled at presenting nutrition-related workshops and webinars for educators, parents, students, and corporations.

Ms Annie C Msauki is an Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe Council member representing Nutritionists .Ms Annie Msauki is a highly experienced Public Health Nutritionist, Researcher and Nutrition Consultant with 15 years of expertise in leadership, community nutrition, and program implementation in humanitarian and emergency settings. Ms Annie Msauki holds an MSc Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Midlands State University ,BSc Nutritional Sciences from University of Zimbabwe, Executive Certificate in Project Monitoring and Evaluation from University of Zimbabwe.Additionally,she has earned professional certifications including Post Graduate in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University, Certificate Program in Nursing Nutrition, Institute for Johns Nursing from USA and Diabetes Educator from IDS School of Diabetes . Ms Annie Msauki possesses extensive experience in dietary planning, health education, lactation consultancy, and wellness coaching. She is skilled in conducting community nutritional assessments, interpreting dietary needs, and providing evidence-based guidance to diverse populations. As a strong communicator, Ms Annie Msauki excels at educating individuals and groups on nutrition-related topics, fostering sustainable lifestyle changes. Ms Annie Msauki is a founder of Kefas Nutrition Services Pvt Limited in Bulawayo and currently ZIMNA interim member.

Mr Reymond Masikondo is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in public sector accounting and financial management, primarily within Zimbabwe’s health sector. He has served as Chief Accountant at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for more than a decade, where he has been instrumental in strengthening financial systems, compliance, and accountability. He holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Business Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from NUST, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. Additionally, he has earned professional certifications including Public Sector Professional Accountant (Zimbabwe) and is a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ.

Ms Rudo Magundani

Ms. Rudo Magundani is a member of the AHPCZ Council as the legal representative, as prescribed by the Act. She holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 2010, receiving the University Book Prize and the Law Society of Zimbabwe Book Prize for her outstanding academic achievements. In 2014, she earned an LLM from the University of Cambridge. She is an exceptional lawyer with experience in commercial, labour, and human rights law. In March 2023, she was honored with the Outstanding Woman in Law Award (Gold Winner) by the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network.

Mr. Edwin Mhukayesango is a member of the AHPCZ Council as the Medical Physicist representative, He is a Clinical Medical Physicist with the Ministry of Health and Childcare. He holds an  Msc Applied Physics  from the University of Zimbabwe and also has Msc Medical Physics from NUST.

 Mrs Rashell Musiyambiri is a member of the AHPCZ Council as the Health Information Management representative, She is Health Information Officer at Gokwe Hospital .She has  well developed skills and experience in Health
Information Management which include data organization, analysis, storage, security and sharing.She holds a higher national diploma in Health Information Management from Harare Polytechnic,

Mr. Komborero Gotosa

Mr Komborero Gotosa is a Health Promotion Officer with over ten years of experience in programme design and implementation. Currently serving as District Health Promotion Officer in Hurungwe, he has expertise in community engagement, programme management, and monitoring and evaluation. He holds a BSc in Health Education and Health Promotion and several executive certificates from the University of Zimbabwe.
