1. Who We Are

The Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (AHPCZ) is a statutory
body established in terms of the Health Professions Act. The Council is committed to protecting
the public and guiding the allied health professions.

The Council is mandated to promote the health of the population of Zimbabwe through regulating,
controlling and supervising matters relating to training, registration, professional practice,
ethics and discipline of allied health practitioners.


2. What Information We Collect

We collect and process your personal information with your consent, primarily for registration
purposes. Where possible, we will indicate which information is mandatory and which is optional.
We also collect website usage information through cookies.

Categories of Personal Information

  • Personal Identifiers – Name, email address, phone number, National ID number, passport number.
  • Demographic Information – Age, gender and residential address.
  • Biometric Data – DNA, fingerprints or facial recognition where permitted by law.
  • Financial Information – Payment details processed securely through approved third-party payment gateways.
  • Technical Information – IP address, browser type and device information.
  • Other Information – Preferences, feedback and communications.
  • CCTV Footage – Recorded from AHPCZ premises for security purposes.
